Merlin Court Care Home is attractive- ly situated next to the Common in the historic town of Marlborough, Wiltshire. This beautiful home delivers the highest standards in dementia and residential care, all at a surprisingly competitive price...
Regardless of the type of dementia that is diagnosed, each person will experience their dementia differently. Although memory loss is a very common symptom of most types of dementia, a person may encounter a number of different cognitive difficulties that increasingly impact on every aspect of day to day living.
The Memory Care suite at Merlin Court perfectly reflects the progressive and sector-leading Avery Healthcare model of care for people living with dementia. Highly trained staff work together with residents and their families to provide skilled support, ensuring that the focus is always on maximising a person’s remaining cognitive abilities as they continue to live their life well in a calm environment that reflects the most up-to-date dementia care research.
Resident well-being is at the centre of Merlin Courts’ quality care. A wide range of healthy exercises, well balanced and
freshly prepared fine dining, along with trips out in the private minibus and daily activities, are all a part of a supportive lifestyle. Everyone is encouraged to become active participants in the home’s life, creating a special and involving home. Friends and family can stay in contact using Skype and social media, and
for those special celebrations there is a private dining room available.
