Santa’s Woodland Grotto is back,
with real wood cabins, animals, quality wrapped gifts and printed photographs of your meeting with Santa, ensuring a fun, interactive and memorable experience
for all the family and you can meet his reindeer too.

Wreath Making Workshops
Create a unique Christmas wreath under the guidance of the lovely ladies from Lytchett Minster and Upton Floral Group, using natural foliage from around the Country Park. All materials are provided, along with tea/coffee, mince pies and mulled wine.

Celebrate Christmas in style at Upton House! Gather your friends, family or colleagues for an evening of festive food and dancing. Booking is essential. Thursday 13 December, 10am - 12pm RSPB Wildlife Walks
Join the RSPB for an exciting and sociable walk to explore the fantastic wildlife that can be found in an around the Country Park. From waders to garden birds, star species during the winter months include avocet, pintail, kingfisher and firecrest!

Lyme Bay Chorale Christmas Concert
The programme will have a decidedly modern feel, with Poulenc’s Gloria, written in 1959 and works by Cecilia McDowall and Paul Halley, who are both still composing. There will also be traditional
carols for choir and audience. They will be joined by soprano soloist Chloe Stratta, accompanist Andrew Millington and members of St Michael’s children’s choir.

The Bournemouth Christmas Market

Open daily except for Christmas Day. Situated in the heart of Bournemouth town centre the market has a Alpine bar serving a variety of festive drinks, and snow capped chalets offering boutique and local craft products and food stalls, with a focus on local traders and local suppliers.
Also expect some fabulous live entertainment and other festive activities!

This Christmas is going to be really special!
The Poole Park’s cricket pavilion will
be turned into a magical winter cabin, complete with Father Christmas and his elves.
Sprinklings of snow, twinkly lights, jingling bells and jolly cheer; The Ark’s one off not-fo-profit fairy-tale Christmas Grotto
is set to thrill and delight, capturing the imagination of visitors - both big and small!
Meet Father Christmas in his enchanting log cabin where children will receive
a special gift, be entertained by his mischievous elves and have the chance to make magical reindeer food to take home - the perfect treat to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Explore the magical kingdom of The Ark with its real ice rink, split-level soft play and stylish café area. Visitors to the Christmas Grotto can enjoy £1.00 off a visit to the ice rink on the same day - simply present your grotto ticket to staff.
Tickets cost £12 per child. Two adults per child only. Recommended for children aged 6months - 12years.
The Ark Grotto is a one-off event and
not for profit initiative. All profits will be donated to Fernheath Play Charity No. 1148263, a local charity which provides specialist free play and short play breaks to fully able and disabled children.

Visit Farmer Palmers Farm Park in December and meet their very special visitor in his log cabin! Father Christmas will be on the farm, ready and waiting to meet the little ones. No pre-booking is required, you will be given a time slot, so there will be no queueing up either. Sunday 16 December
Mini Christmas Market and Carol Service
Visit Farmer Palmer’s first ‘Mini Christmas Market’!
You will discover a selection of local producers. This is your opportunity to indulge in gorgeous, festive gifts and tasty treats. There’s a full timetable of animal events running throughout the day and delicious Sunday Roast Dinners available in the Hen House. Father Christmas will be there in his Winter Cabin too (please see above).
Plus the Carol Service is back! The team will be having a sing-a-long with the ‘Farmer Palmer Choir’ in the Hen House at approximately 3pm.
